Top Noise Cancelling Headphones
A nice pair of headphones is essential for any college student. Whether you are at the library studying, in your dorm trying to take a nap, or watching a lecture online, headphones can block out the noise and help you focus on what's important. I highly recommend investing in a nice pair of noise cancelling headphones that are designed to block out the extra noise. My favorite picks are below.
Beats Solo2 Wireless On-Ear Headphones
Samsung Level PRO Wireless Headphones
Powerbeats 2 Wireless Earphones
Top Mini Fridges
Many dorms do not come with a refridgerator by default. Also, most are so small that even if they did, you would have room for nothing else. That's why one of the most important essentials for your dorm is a minifridge! Minifridgers are small enough that they fit in your dorm or bedroom but still have enough room to store whatever food and drinks you need to keep chilled. Furthermore, most have a freezer section for the stuff that has to stay super cold!

There are lots of small things that can help your dorm, apartment, or bedroom feel more relaxing and appealing - no matter how small it might be. Some of these things may help you be more efficient day-to-day and some may just help you feel more cozier while at home. There are going to be days when you just can't remember what that upcoming quiz is on. There are going to be days when you don't feel well but have to go to class and study anyway. The following items will be staples in your college career and will help keep you going when times get tough.

Top Laptop Cases
You most likely already shelled out a few hundred or thousand dollars for that nice laptop to do your work on. Don't let it get beat up as you travel from class to class or when you get mad and throw it around after a long day of studying (don't do that!!!). Here are some of my favorite laptop cases.

Arkvok Water-Resistant Neoprene Case

Here are all of the things that I couldn't fit into any specific category. Though these are last they certainly aren't least. I have found some of these to be the most useful and important things in my college career.
