Chevrolet Classics Club Automotive Scholarships
This could be the right scholarship for you if you are interested in auto technology. The requirements for this scholarship are not difficult. You simply deliver your application (completed), and send along two letters of recommendation. Include your academic transcript and an essay that describes your accomplishments and goals.
Applicants for this scholarship must be female, and the money awarded goes to those with no professional background, but with financial challenges. The amount of these scholarships is $1,000 each. You must be a United States citizen and a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
California – Hawaii Elks Association Automotive Scholarships
These scholarships are worth $1,000 each and offered by the California and Hawaii Elks Association in Fresno, CA. You may be eligible for these funds if you are a resident of Hawaii or California and a US citizen.
You should be planning the pursuit of a technical or vocations study course after high school or prep school. You do not have to have a high school diploma yet, to pursue this scholarship. Ineligibility will result if you plan to go into a bachelor’s program after you complete your vocational study.
Ford Motor Automotive Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for students who maintain a 3.5 to 4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA). It will allow you to get an important study certificate in the automotive field. Learning with Ford gives you a chance to see cutting edge technology. This car company awards $1,000 for students who meet their requirements. Medallion Fund Automotive Scholarships
The award amount varies on these New Hampshire Charitable Foundation scholarships from the Concord, NH foundation. You may be eligible if you are enrolling in a technical or vocational program that is accredited, and which will not lead to any advanced or bachelor’s degrees in the automotive field.
If you wish to apply for these scholarships, you must be a legal resident of the state of New Hampshire and plan to work in a technical or vocational career after your schooling. Preferred applicants are those who plan to work in the manufacturing or trade sector, with no alternative opportunities for education or training. Application information is found on their website.
Bridgestone/ Firestone Automotive Scholarships
These scholarships are sponsored by a trust fund set up by Bridgestone/Firestone. It gives eligible students financial help in obtaining an Automotive Technology Certificate of Completion. If you are the first in your family to go to college and/or have financial needs, you will be seriously considered. Your GPA must be 2.5 or higher. Check their website for more information.
Paul Dionne Scholarship
This scholarship is offered by Portland Community College and the $1,750 is awarded if students meet these requirements: Maintain a GPA of 2.5, major in automotive collision repair, plan to be a full time student and have completed a full 12 credits from PCC at the end of the winter term. Daimler Chrysler Automotive Scholarships
Daimler Chrysler provides welcome financial help for qualified students who are studying in the Automotive Technology program (CAP). The scholarships aim to help students in achieving their higher education goal. To qualify, you must be already enrolled in a recognized Auto Technology program, and possess good references for your academic achievements. Find more information here.
AutoZone Auto Scholarship
This scholarship gives $2,500 to 15 students each year. You may qualify for them if you are a graduating HS senior employed by AutoZone or if your parents have worked for AutoZone for more than a year. The criteria used to choose winners include leadership qualities, extracurricular school activities, scholastic achievement and community service. There is additional information on this website.
Technology Program Automotive Scholarships
To qualify for this program, you must be attending school full time in Automotive Technology. You’ll need a 2.5 GPA and you’ll be more likely to be awarded one of these scholarships if you also show financial need. CARQUEST Automotive Technology Scholarships
CARQUEST offers four $1,000 scholarships per year to technicians of the company and members of their families. Employees are also eligible for scholarships that may be applied to your full-time tuition in auto courses and other programs with degrees.
Auto care companies are often generous benefactors of student aid. Retailers are willing to pay dividends in scholarship form to technicians who wish to be top-flight industry professionals. Automotive Booster Club International Scholarship
This scholarship is a good choice for students who want to continue their education in the field of automotive technology. If you wish to be considered, you will need to fill out your full application and submit it. You will also need to send an education transcript and attach two letters of recommendation. Advanced Training Automotive Scholarships
These scholarships are designed specifically for those students who are transferring from one Universal Technical Institute (UTI) campus to another. This can be for elective classes or for their Manufacturer Specific Advanced Trainings (MSATs). Five scholarships of $1,000 are awarded monthly, and help to pay for relocation expenses like rent, travel and utilities.
UTI encourages education through the UTI Foundation. If you are enrolled in automotive technology studies, including auto repair and collision repair, you may benefit from their grants, scholarships and career development initiatives.
Automobile Program Student Scholarship
If you are enrolled in an automotive program full-time, you will receive priority for these $750 scholarships. If you have an automotive background, that will weigh in your favor, as well. If you are still in high school, you will need to submit a letter of recommendation.
Southplains College Automotive Scholarships
These scholarships are given to those students who wish to make their focus automotive technology. Students in diesel programs are also eligible. You may be eligible if you enroll full-time as a student in their program. Scholarships from Southplains are designed to help students with their fees and tuition in total.
