More specifically, only students who have achieves a 3.5 or higher GPA from their high school career and scored a 28-29 on the ACT are considered. Academic Charter Scholarship: This scholarship provides $8,000 to lucky recipients. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years. Students are required to be from out-of-state in order to be considered. The award is doled out based solely on previous academic achievements, such as ACT or SAT score and the applicant’s high school grade point average. All applicants for this award must be received prior to the December 1st deadline. Additionally, each applicant must hold a minimum of a 29 on the ACT and at least a 3.5 grade point average. 100 Women Strong Helping Hands Annual Scholarship: This scholarship is open to advanced students in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. In order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants are required to show that they have a high level of financial need. Additionally, only students who are in their last two years of the program are eligible to be considered. Priority consideration is given to female applicants. The scholarship provides one lucky winner with an award worth $2,000 to help defray the cost of their college education.
