Clemson University: Students who attend Clemson University and who reside in SC are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship. Residents of other states are eligible to receive a scholarship of $7,500 or more, if they have graduated within the top 10% of their high school class and receive at least a 28 or higher on the ACT exam. University of Oregon: Students who have achieved an ACT score of 25 and who hold at least a 3.6 grade point average, are eligible to receive an award that ranges from $3,000 – $4,000 depending on the resident status of the student. Applicants who scored a 26 on the ACT exam and who hold at least a 3.8 grade point average, can receive a scholarship that ranges between $6,000-$9,000 depending upon their resident status. There are many universities that offer scholarships to students who score well on the ACT. This is done in order to recruit top students. For example, students who earn at least a 31 on their ACT exam and who have a 3.9 GPA are eligible to receive the Presidential Scholarship from the University of New Mexico, which covers the total cost of tuition for up to four years.
