Army ROTC scholarships

Army ROTC scholarships provide a number of different paths through which students can fund their education. One of the most unique aspects of this scholarship is that there are awards available for students from all different levels. The first path is open to students who are in their senior year of high school. This program, called the four-year high school scholarship, is available to students who want help funding their college degree. The second path to receiving Army ROTC scholarships is open to current college students. The applicant may be considered for a two-year, three-year, or four-year scholarship. Students who are just beginning college will be eligible for the four-year scholarship. College sophomores are eligible for the three-year scholarship and college juniors are eligible for the two-year scholarship. The third path for an Army ROTC scholarship is for enlisted soldiers who wish to become an officer. The program is called the Green to Gold program and is used to enable current enlisted members obtain a B.A. or graduate degree while serving in the Army. Through this program, recipients obtain essential leadership skills to further their career and education.

In general, the Army ROTC scholarships provide numerous benefits to recipients. The scholarships provide full tuition remission for all college costs. In the case that a student already has a full-ride scholarship, the award can be used to cover the cost of room and board. Furthermore, students receive a stipend to cover the cost of living. This award varies from $300 to $500 per month, depending on your year in college. More advanced students receive the highest living allowances.
